"Toni Hebda, RN, PhD," is a nurse clinician at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. She has worked as a system analyst and adjunct faculty for Duquesne University School of Nursing, having taught both nursing informatics and clinical courses. Her interest in informatics provided a focus for her dissertation and subsequently led her to help establish a regional nursing informatics support group and obtain a graduate degree in information science and ANCC certification as informatics nurse. She is a reviewer for the "Online Journal of Nursing Informatics."

"Patricia Czar, RN," is an Information Systems Consultant. She has been active in informatics for more than 25 years, serving as manager of clinical systems at a major medical center where she was responsible for planning, design, implementation, and ongoing support for all of the clinical information systems. She has been an active member of several informatics groups and has presented nationally and internationally. Ms. Czar has served as mentor for nursing and health informatics students and has a Microcomputer Specialist certificate.

this was a required book for my schooling. I used it in class and that was it. It is a good resource though and read through much of it. It is very good because of the way healthcare and informatics are now working together. It helps grasp those concepts better.

Comprehensive information supported with latest statistics. I do not know if it is possible to read all the book during a semester, but it is true that each chapter has plenty of things to deliver into your brain.

Por Raffa TOP 500 COMENTARISTAS en 19 de abril de 2014La edición es modesta, pero con gusto. Las tapas blandas tienen un color verde lima muy agradable. Desde un punto de vista meramente estético, el libro queda muy bien en la estantería. La tipografía no es como la que encontramos en una obra maquetada por una gran editorial, es casi más un cuadernillo encuadernado que trata de aprovechar cada hoja; pero resulta perfectamente adecuado en tamaño y claridad para leerse y disfrutarse. No debe suponer esto ningún temor para el lector.

Sad but beautiful literary rendition about the lives a puerto rican campesino workers community in the mountains. You get mesmerized by interesting but real characters. Enphasis is on poverty, women's lack of power and abuse by males, oppression by the powerful and savvy in the middle of beautiful natural paisajes.

Disfrute mucho la lectura por segunda vez, luego de 30 a~os. Muestra una realidad cruel en la que
vivio nuestro jibaro puertorriqueno.
Recomiendo leer esta novela.

A classic of Puerto Rican literature

This is a classic of Puerto Rican literature, giving you a glimpse of "jíbaro" life in the late 1800's. It's an interesting study in social class. It's also easy to read, if you read Spanish. I'm really enjoying re-reading the classics that I read back in high school, but with an adult perspective.

I am very happy with this aid and it seems that my daughter ...

This book was extremely helpful. My 5 year old have tried other books but was only mildly excited about them. I can see with this book she showed some more enthusiasm. I believe the colors helped quite a bit. The questions can be somewhat challenging at times, but this can only help with her progress and increase her potential to do well on testing day. I am very happy with this aid and it seems that my daughter is happy as well.

Good source for practice

This book has a good set of practice problems that a child can solve to work upon the concepts. The multiple choice questions use colorful patterns that retain the attention and interest level. There is a clear progression from easy to harder that enables a sense of early achievement in the child. It would be better if the book has more variety and number of problems to be solved. My son was able to run through the book in two quick sessions.

My son is taking the GT test soon. I started preparing him since last year by sending him to a preschool. When I bought this book for my son as his last practice before taking the test, I was impressed that there was such a well thought out preparation book. The format as style were just like those on the actual test. I also bought this company's book for OLSAT and it has been just as good. I recommend these books.
